The Hollywood Diet
For Hollywood's
leading men and women, "thin" is always in.
It's no myth - the camera really
does add 10 pounds to an actor or actress, so getting -
and staying - in shape is crucial to success in the land of movie
make believe.
While exercise helps, nobody can
stay super thin all the time and actors and actresses are no exception.
Let's just say between roles they "let go" a little.
They dine out, enjoy some good wine, maybe a box or two of their
favourite chocolates. And soon the pounds pile up and they're
on the front page of the tabloids. But as soon as there's a new
movie on the horizon, they have to shed the accumulated weight
in a hurry.
That's where a 68-year-old tried
and tested diet solution comes to the rescue: The Hollywood Diet,
sometimes also called the Celebrity Detox Diet. It's more properly
called The Master Cleanse.
It's been popularized in our own
time by singer/actress Beyonce Knowles, who used to drop and amazing
20 pounds in a couple of weeks for her starring role in the hit
movie Dreamgirls.
Take a look at the movie and you'll agree Beyonce
looks sensational in those tight stage costumes!
And Beyonce isn't the only Hollywood star to get
in shape with the lemonade diet - leading men Vince Vaughn and
Denzil Washington also use it to feel good and look great before
the cameras.
The Howard Stern show's Robin Quivers also tried
the diet after magician David Blaine publicly endorsed it. Givens
soon lost a huge 70 pounds and credited the diet for restoring
her health and vitality.
So what is this mysterious "Hollywood
Diet" diet the celebs rave about? Well, it's been around
for a very long time. New Yorker Stanley Burroughs created it
in 1941, using a few simple ingredients like maple syrup, cayenne
pepper and lemons.
His intent was to help rid the body of toxins
and waste with a 10-day liquid diet. But it soon became clear
that not only did the diet get rid of a lot of internal garbage
and restored vigorous health - it also helped people to lose weight
quickly.
Now one of the problems with the original lemonade
diet method is that it's very tough. A lot of people just can't
stick to a liquid diet for longer than three days before they
cave in to intense hunger.
However, now you can get all the benefits of the
Master Cleanse diet without starving yourself. Raylen Sterling,
an expert on the diet, has produced a wonderful how-to guide called
Master Cleanse
Secrets in which she lists the foods you can eat while
on the Master Cleanse - including "safe" protein.
Sterling's best-selling guide is used by novices
and experts alike to help them make inner cleansing and weight
loss a success every time. Copy Hollywood and discover more: Click
